Trivia

  • Despite being able to possess machines and make them move in the intro, Cogjammer has no such ability in-game.
    • He is also visible to the mortals in the intro despite having no manifest powers in-game.
  • Cogjammer is the second most recommended ghost with 11 levels recommending him. He shares this title with Stonewall.
  • Cogjammer shows up in the level posters for The Unusual Suspects and Class of Spook 'em High.
  • The original concept of Cogjammer was inspired by the gremlin from The Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 feet".
    • According to a developer the design was changed due to looking too scary for the game.
    • A model of that early design along with Knuckles would have originally show up on a poster titled "House of Gimp" in Haunting 101 and Facepacks & Broomsticks however in the final game it was replaced by a diffrent poster featuring Ghost with No Name.
  • Cogjammer's early concept art, although not visible in game, is visible on the summoning book's textures in Summoners Not Included and The Blair Wisp Project.
  • Cogjammer used to speak normally before being changed to just make animal noises.
  • Based on the numbering of Cogjammer's voice lines (5 and 6) it is possible that he might have at one point been intended to be a restless spirit as haunters who are ones always use lines 1, 2 and 3 for their restless spirit apperance and only use later numbers for dispel, banishment and/or other things.
