Stormtalon
Prince of elementals, Stormtalon is as glorious to mortals as they are banal to him. He is scornful of their petty attempts to emulate his power, and fights Progress wherever it rears its ugly head.

Stormtalon is a Thunder Spirit who can be encountered in Spooky Hollow as a hidden ghost bound to the large tree in the middle of the lake.
Appearance
Stormtalon is a large bird-like humanoid being who sits on the cloud, concealing his hight and large stomach. His skin is dark purple in most places with white highlights on his head, hands and feet. Both his feet and hands resemble bird talons and end in large claws. Two large protrusion are visible on his back which might possibly his wings. His head is small and consists of a long a large nose and mouth and large eyeholes containing pink eyelids and yellow eyes. His facial expression resembles a constant frown. Stormtalon wields a hammer made out of stone and wood in his right hand.
How To Free
Stormtalon can be freed by causing a lightning to strike the tree he is bound to. To achieve this, you need to use a combination of strong wind and rain. Using Weatherwitch and Whisperwind to create wind using their wind powers (Gusts from Weatherwitch and Tempest from Whisperwind) and Raindancer to start the Rain will create a storm and cause a lightning to strike the tree, freeing Stormtalon. However, at the start of the haunting you will not have enough plasm to do this. You can either scare some of the mortals yourself or wait for Dragoon to scare mortals for you (Do be careful to not get rid of too many mortals as it will cause the mission to become harder or even fail it outright.). Be weary of using Rain or powers like Distant Thunder and Thunderclap as they will cause all mortals outside to run indoors where you can't scare them.
Cut Content
If not freed during either Spooky Hollow or Field of Nightmares, he could have optionally reappeared in Ghost in the Military Machine as a ghost captured by the MIB, however only if Wisakejak was freed during Full Mortal Jacket as otherwise he would take his place.

Trivia
- Stormtalon and Windwalker are both the second and third secret ghosts a player can find as both of their levels unlock at the same time.
- Unlike the other two secret ghosts, Windwalker and Banzai, there is no hint on how to free him.
- Stormtalon is based on Thunderbird, a Native American creature described as a large bird who is said to be able to create thunder bu flapping it's wings and thunder by flashing it's eyes.
- It should be noted that Black Crow, a spirit of a Native American huntsman, is also present in this level. This could reinforce the connection between Stormtalon and his Native American inspiration.
- The Thunder Spirit category that Stormtalon is the sole member of, was created to serve as a reference to a Magic: The Gathering card of the same name.
- Stormtalon's hammer could be based on Mjölnir, a hammer wielded by a Norse God Thor. The design of the hammer itself is may be based on the Marvel adaptation of the character.
- Stormtalon was originaly supposed to be a ghost in Field of Nightmares, it's unknown if him being in Spooky Hollow was intended or just a result of Field of Nightmares being cut.
- Despite both his epitaph and voicelines calling him an Elemental he doesn't belong to said category in game.
