Mortal children play a gruesome game at Halloween, passing objects to one another blindfold. Peeled grapes become a dead man`s eyes. Well, children… these are a dead man`s eyes.

-Epitaph

Cut up for medical experiments without permission, all that remains of the mortal body of Terroreyes are his eyes, preserved in a jar.

-Beta Epitaph

Terroreyes is an Apparition who can be encountered in Weird Séance, bound to a glass jar containing his brain located in the living room at the ground floor of the frat house.

Appearance

Terroreyes is a floating brain with a pair of eyes attached to it with a pair of red optic nerves. The brain itself is orange and the eyes themselves are heterochromic, with one eye being blue while the other is green. Terroreyes is somehow capable of speech despite having no mouth. When using Terror Incarnate, several metal spikes shoot out of Terroreyes' eyes.

How To Free

Terroreyes can be freed by breaking the jar his brain is in. The jar itself is flimsy and can be broken in multitude of ways. Dealing enough of either glass damage or structural damage will break the jar without much trouble. Aether's Shattering Song, Stonewall's Quake (he can be tought this power) or Kinesis (Boo has this power altough this is a pretty unreliable method). Another way of freeing Terroreyes is by having a mortal break the jar themselves. Making a mortal unlucky with either Jinx or Luckstorm (altough this power is a lot more random as it can grant mortals either luck or bad luck) and then having Terroreyes use Fascinate will eventually lead to an unlucky mortal interacting with the jar and breaking it. When the jar is broken, Terroreyes will be set free.

Trivia

  • The jar Terroreyes is stuck in has a unique sound for being destroyed with Hailstones which is impossible under regular circumstances.
    • It is possible to break the jar using Hailstones when using Complete Edition. Bringing a ghost who knows the power alongside a ghost who knows a gift power will allow you to do this.
  • Terroreyes might be based on the character of Cain from 1990 Sci-fi/action movie, Robocop 2. Both characters were experimented on and had their brains and eyes placed in a glass container.
  • Another possible inspiration could be a 1983 science fiction/black comedy, The Man with Two Brains.
  • It is unknown who caused Terroreyes to end up in his state but a fan theory states that he might have been a test subject of Dr Krauss. The upper levels of the hospital in What Lies Over the Cuckoo's Nest? are filled with body parts in jars, making it plausible that Teroreyes might have been one of the subjects there.
  • Terroreyes's beta epitaph might be referencing an earlier form of him which had him as just a pair of floating eyeballs without a brain simmilarly to how his concept art looks.
