A mysterious, cultured Fetch, Lady Rose believes in etiquette above all else, and so politely refuses to reveal the details of her sordid past.

-Epitaph

Lady Rose was one of a few of the British nobles who were evacuated from America during the War of Independence but alas, she died en route.

-Beta Epitaph

Lady Rose is a Fetch who joins the Ghost Master's team at the start of Act 3.

Appearance

Lady Rose is a tall, pale woman seemingly of aristocratic descent as well as possibly being a Vampire. Lady Rose has a pale white skin and green eyes with blue hues, red pupils and black and black sclera. She wears a Romantic era style dress. The bodice of the dress is light red, with a long yellow ribbon separating it from the skirt which is cloudy blue with a white flounce coming out of it. She also wears a cream bonnet with a pink ribbon on the back as well as a cloudy blue cap over her hair and a cloudy blue cowl over her shoulders. Lady Rose holds a white and blue fan with floral patern in her left hand. She has black hair covered by the cap with a long piece of hair coming down the right side. Lady Rose wears makeup consisting of red lipstic and dark eyeshadow. Lady Rose's face is in perfect condition. Ocasionally, you can see two long fangs when she opens her mouth, further implying her being a Vampire.

Cut Content

Lady Rose was supposed to appear as a restless spirit during The Abysmal where she would have been in a love triangle between herself, Daydreamer and Thorne. While both Lady Rose and Daydreamer shared a mutual love, she would not dare to break her wedding vows with Thorne despite not loving him so the only way to let her free would have been to prove to her that they have been broken by bringing Thorne's ghost to her, making their vows null.

Trivia

  • Lady Rose was originally a restless spirit in The Abysmal.
  • In the base game Lady Rose's Banishment and Dispel (Unused) lines are swapped with eachother.
    • Her subtitles however showed the correct banish and dispel lines .
  • For some reason the name for Lady Rose's concept art calls her Mirage, a name that is used in the game to refer to Tricia.
  • It is heavily implied that Lady Rose might be a vampire due to her unnatural eyes, pale skin and sharp fangs.
    • Ironically, she is a Fetch, a ghost type trapped in a mirror.
  • While the origin of Lady Rose's name is unknown, there are two likely possibilities:
    • She could be named after Mary Rose, Henry VII's beloved warship, which sank in the waters north of the Isle of Wight which would give it a connection to Lady Rose's original location in The Abysmal.
    • She might be based on Rose Dewitt Bukater from 1997's movie Titanic which would line up with James Cameron (the movie's director) being referenced with Jimmy Cameron and with Daydreamer's mortal name (Lieutenant Jackson) possibly being a reference to Jack Dawson which would make Lady Rose and Daydreamer mirror the two's romantic relationship.
