Firetail
Salamanders are inscrutable spirits which tend to treat all entities as equals beneath them, mortals included. But even the most unflappable spirit can be frustrated by bad manners.

Firetail is a Fire Elemental encountered in Facepacks & Broomsticks. They are trapped in the brazier located in the basement as part of the protective circle created by the witches.
Appearance
Firetail is a floating eastern newt, with orange skin, small nose, and amber eyes with a vertical pupils. Firetail has a segmented yellow stomach, which carries all the way down to their tail. Firetail has two small arms with four digits on its hands, as well as two legs with three digits on its feet. Firetail has a small, red, forked tongue.
How To Free
Firetail can be freed by extinguishing the flame in the brazier. This can be achieved by making it rain or creating a strong wind in the same room as the brazier.
Alternatively, hijacking the protective circle the brazier is a part of will also set Firetail free. To do so, you need to fill the rest of the circle with ghosts. Taking one of each elemental will do the trick. When all three ghosts are bound to the circle, Firetail will be set free, but unlike any other situation, they will remain bound to the brazier as to not break the circle. Be aware that dismissing any ghost bound to the circle will stop the hijacking and return protection to the witches.

Trivia
- Due to an error, both Firetail's and Sparkle's eyes are transparent and smaller in game than they should be.
- Firetail is based on Charmander, one of the original starter Pokemons from Pokemon series.
- In the Polish version of the game, Firetail's voice is female. This is in opposition to the English version where their voice is masculine.
- The very same thing happens to Hogwash in the same level as well
- Firetail is the only ghost in the game to have been shown working with mortals out of their own free will, as opposed to being forced by them or out of necessity.
