- Her name is a reference to Dr. Martha Lesh played by Beatrice Straight from the 1982 supernatural horror film, Poltergeist.
- Beatrice's fear is blood, which is coincidentally the specialty of Hard Boiled.
- There's almost an exact copy of her model and icon in the files, with the only change being a pentagram necklace instead of a crystal one, called "FATTEENWITCH", implying that she was originally supposed to be a Witch rather then a Medium.
