- Frank Batts is based on Billy Batts, a person potrayed by Frank Vincent in a 1990 biographical crime movie called Goodfellas.
- Frank and the rest of the gangsters in Field of Nightmares would have had a slighly changed bio, saying the exact same thing as they did in Deadfellas but with an added "Don't let him reach the farmer!" at the end.
