• Dr. Maureen Ramis is based on Egon Spengler, a character played by Harold Ramis in a 1984 Supernatural Comedy movie Ghostbusters.
  • Her design and name however is based on Moe Howard from The Three Stooges comedy group.
• Dr. Maureen Ramis is one of the few character that had their gender changed compared to their reference, being female in the game while the characters/people she references are both male.
• She was originally called Dr. Dana Weaver in early versions of the game.
  • The name comes from Sigourney Weaver, a character played by Dana Barrett ina 1984 Supernatural Comedy movie Ghostbusters.
    • The reason for the change in naming might have been because while Sigourney is a prominent character from the franchise, she is not a member of the Ghostbusters.
