The Butler Didn't Do It is the original version of Where There's a Will..., sharing everything with it besides level objective, story and having a slightly different mortal list.

The Butler Didn't Do It was a cut scenario and the second mission taking place in Carter's mansion after The Uninvited and before Dark Passage. The level itself would feature a murder mystery puzzle revolving around Carter's murder.

Mission Goal

The Misson would have had the Ghost Master help Carter's spirit Lay to Rest by figuring out who among the present mortals murdered him and then exposing their deeds to the mortals.

While the methods for finding out the culprit are unknown, the one who would have been the murderer would be revealed to have been Bill Scarlet.
