- Burt Armstrong is based on Herbert Viola, a character played by Curtis Armstrong in a TV comedy drama called Moonlighting.
- For some reason he doesn't take his name from the character he's inspired by, unlike most other mortals in the game.
- For unknown reasons, Jack MacGillicuddy, Burt Armstrong and Agnes Beasley all change their icons and models in Class of Spook 'em High.
