Captain Frank Travanti is the captain of Hell Street Precinct in Gravenville.

Unless forced to roam due to being scared too much, he will come to the waiting room of the Police station and water the Bonzai tree in it.

Along with Sergeant Stan Prosky, Officer Megan Russo and Officer Andrew Haid, he would have been a part of the police force trying to stop the Hamner familly from building a baseball field in Field of Nightmares, the exact reason for them trying to do it is unknown.

• Captain Frank Travanti is based on Capt. Francis Xavier "Frank" Furillo, a character played by Daniel J. Travanti in a police TV show called Hill Street Blues.
• According to the Prima Guide, the Bonsai tree that Frank was given was originally in possession of Japanese monks who gifted the tree to Travanti during his foreign exchange program with a Japanese cop.
  • The tree itself also contained the spirit of Banzai.
