Along with the rest of the divers from the level, Catfish would have been a part of a group of treasure hunters called Salvagers.

- Catfish Burmester is based on Catfish De Vries, a character played by Leo Burmester in a 1989 science fiction called The Abyss.
- There are overall 5 diffrent male Salvagers/Divers but only one icon of them is left in the files, it is unknown if they were all planned to share it or if they all would have gotten unique ones however for now they will share the icons on the wiki.
