Raising his belief or scaring him is the main goal of the level.

Don Bartholemew is based on two characters Don Alfonso de Salamanca de la Torre and Captain Thomas Bartholomew Red from a 1986 adventure comedy movie Pirates.
Originally after the events of Deadfellas Don would have lost his possition as he mafia mob boss to Ray Hill, who would be seen in Field of Nightmares as the new leader of the Gravenville Mafia.
