- Private G. W. Rizzo is based on Staff Sergeant Luther Rizzo, a character played by G. W. Bailey in a war comedy-drama TV Show called M*A*S*H.
- Based on the full name of the actor he takes his name from his full name is George William Rizzo.
- G.W was downgraded in rank compared to his inspiration from the show where he was a Sergeant.
- His accusations of being a rat is a reference to Rizzo the Rat, a character from The Muppets.
