Phobia is a tier 7 Fear power which causes a mortal to change their conscious fear. The changed fear is depended on which ghost cast it.

Users

Ghosts which already know the power:

• Azrael (Fire)
• Brigit (Noise)
• Dragoon (Hunted)

Ghosts which can learn the power:

• Carter (Creepy Crawlies)
• The Painter (Stench)

• Based on the files relating to the power, Darkling would have originally had it as well and the fear he would cause would have been Trapped
  • Despite Trapped being the fear he would inflict, Darkling doesn't have a single power that inflicts the fear of Trapped which could mean that he could have had a different power set originally.
• Carter's Phobia effect is a reference to his pet Buck who's speciality is Swarm powers.
• If the power was given to a ghost without an assigned fear to inflict the one given would be random.
• Phobia actually has two versions of the power in the game but outside of one being in the Fear family and the other in Madness family there is no difference between them.
  • Despite no ghost in the game using the Madness version of the power the guide does label it as being Fear/Madness.
