Story Role

In the base game, the military doesn't serve any sort of major role, simply being the target of a pre-emptive strike by the Ghost Master before they could mobilise to do anything else.

Originally however, the military's role was much bigger, making their first official apperance at the end of The Blair Wisp Project where they would have been the ones to capture the Darkling as opposed to Dr. Krauss and Dr. Brunner. Following said capture, the military would hold the trapped Darkling at their base which would have served as additional motivation for the Ghost Master to attack the military base in Full Mortal Jacket. Their final apperance would have been during the events of Trainspooking, where they would have assited either the MIB or Ghostbreakers (Depending on the version of the scenario) in delivering the Ether Bomb to the edge of the town.

• The majority of mortals in the military are a reference to a war comedy-drama TV Show called M*A*S*H
  • Secondary references include a TV Sitcom called It Ain't Half Hot Mum, a 1987 war drama movie Full Metal Jacket and a 1980 comedy movie called Private Benjamin.
• According to the way that the game's text file is structured, there are 3 unknown cut military members, as the listing of all privates lacks Army Grunt A, B and G
